Everything about keyone care

1Are my household contents not already covered by my household insurance?
Conventional household contents or liability insurance policies often do not cover damage that occurs during the tourist rental of your property. Insurance companies often regard tourist rentals as a commercial and business activity, which means that damage in tourist rentals is often outside the scope of cover of conventional household contents insurance policies.
2What services does keyone care include?
The insurance premium as well as the maximum liability amount is based on the size of your holiday property in square metres (m²). However, if your accommodation and your inventory require a higher sum insured than € 1,000 per square metre, we will be happy to make you an individual offer. The maximum liability sum for the ‘household insurance’ cover module is €1,000 per square metre. For damage caused by guests, this amounts to €20,000 per claim. With keyone care business interruption cover, your income is secured for up to 100 booking days for 3 months. In the event of fire, even for 12 months. The contract term is at least one year.
3Is there a monthly billing option?
The keyone care billing system gives you maximum flexibility when paying your premium. You can choose whether you want to pay the insurance premium in an annual or monthly billing cycle.

1Do I have to be a keyone customer to get keyone care?
We currently offer keyone care exclusively to keyone rental customers whose holiday accommodation is located in Austria. If you are interested in our rental service, you can find out more on our website or arrange a free, no-obligation consultation with our sales team!
2Are there geographical restrictions on insurance cover?
Regardless of your place of residence (sanctioned countries are excluded), we offer everyone the opportunity to benefit from the services of keyone care, provided the holiday property is located in Austria.
3How can I set up keyone care?
You can set up keyone care easily online. Simply select the accommodation you want to insure, enter the number of square metres and you will receive your personalised quote with no fuss. We will be happy to provide you with personal advice and are there for you if you have any questions or concerns.

In the case of damages

1What steps should be taken in the event of damage?
In the event of damage, immediate notification is crucial. If you discover damage, you can report it easily and simply using our claims form. Simply leave the rest to our competent assistance centre 'call us'! Once the damage report form has been submitted, a local repair company will be commissioned to carry out the repairs as soon as possible. This means that you can continue to rent out your property ‘carefree’ as quickly as possible.
2Who identifies/reports the damage if I am not on site?
You are not on site? No problem - you don't have to make an extra journey. Our trained partner companies will identify the damage. We will check your accommodation for possible damage, document it and send it to you. All you have to do is send the damage report to our assistance centre, 'call us'. Of course, you will always be kept fully informed about the entire process. The final inspection can also be carried out digitally as well as in person. So there is no need for you to worry, even if you are away for a longer period of time!
3How and when can I contact customer service if I have questions or problems?
Our 24/7 call us Assistance Centre is available around the clock to answer your questions and concerns. The 'call us' assistance centre takes care of the entire claims process and offers you active support when you need it. If you have any questions about reporting a claim, our support team is at your disposal.
4Does keyone care have a deductible?
keyone care provides for a deductible of € 75. To cover this amount, we retain a corresponding deposit from the guests. This procedure enables minor damage to be repaired quickly and easily without incurring additional costs. In the event of damage that exceeds the excess, the deposit will be retained in full. This ensures that you will not incur any costs for both minor and major damage. Please note that the deposit applies to the cover module "damage caused by guests". The deductible does apply to damage caused by natural hazards when the property is empty.
